Description

A user-friendly browser application for calculating the Gut Microbiome Wellness Index (GMWI) from a taxonomic profile of a stool shotgun metagenome sample.

Usage

First, run MetaPhlAn2 on a stool shotgun metagenome sample (.fastq file(s)). Then, simply upload the MetaPhlAn2 output file (.txt) in the designated space on the lefthand side of the page. See Supplementary Information for a detailed description about running the required pipeline, as well as the data files used to build GMWI-webtool.
