Overview

Send automatic messages under a post on instagram

Instagram will rate limit you after some time. From there on you can only post 1 comment every 40 seconds Currently the scripts will simply write math equations as the content but you can change this in the function called comment.


Requirements

  1. Download the chromedriver (Look in your google chrome settings which browser version you use and download the driver accordingly)

  2. Have an existing instagram account

What versions were used?

I used the chromedriver version 96 on MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6 (iMac). I do not know if the script works for windows user.

Getting Started

  1. git clone this repo in your terminal

    git clone https://github.com/MaximilianFreitag/instagram-comment-writer-requests.git

  2. Open the file in your text editor

  3. Type in your username, the password, the path to your chromedriver and the URL of the post you want to writer under into the script and save it (Everything in all caps)

  4. Run the python script
